Privacy Policy

The short version: your cat's photo never leaves your phone. KittySort has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. It collects anonymous gameplay statistics to help tune the puzzles, and you can turn that off.
Who we are
KittySort is published by Paradise NYC, LLC ("we"). Contact: support@kittysort.app.
Your cat photos
When you add your cat, the photo you take or choose is processed entirely on your device to cut the cat out of its background. The photo, the cut-out and the name you give your cat are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. You can delete them at any time in the app (Settings → Privacy → "Delete all my cat data"), and deleting the app removes them.
KittySort asks for camera access only to take that photo, and uses the system photo picker, which gives the app access only to the photo you select.
Anonymous gameplay statistics
To understand which levels are too hard or too easy, the app sends small event records to our server. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy → "Share anonymous gameplay stats"; doing so also discards anything not yet sent.

The random identifier is not linked to your identity, is not a device identifier, and is replaced if you reinstall the app. We do not store IP addresses with these records. Records are stored with Cloudflare, Inc., our hosting provider, and are used only to improve the game. We do not sell or share them, and we do not use them for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites.
Settings download
On launch the app downloads a small settings file from our server (for example, which rule variant to use). This request contains no information about you beyond what any web request includes.
Purchases
If the app offers a purchase, it is processed by Apple. We receive no payment details. The app checks with Apple whether the purchase is active.
Children
KittySort is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices and rights
Because we hold no information that identifies you, we generally cannot look up "your" records. You can stop collection with the in-app switch, and you can email us with any question or request.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
